Dommerjævel

Referee abuse is the target of Dommerjævel. Comedians Mads Hansen and Calle Hellevang-Larsen travel around Europe refereeing real matches with hidden cameras, doing everything they can to make the players miss their usual officials. The series premiered on VGTV in February 2025, with six episodes ranging from basketball in Greece to football in Rome and handball in Iceland.

The equipment we delivered

A shoot that moves from country to country needs kit that packs light and rigs fast. We supplied two Sony FX6 packages with lenses and standard kits, giving each operator a complete setup with nothing to hunt for on location.

For sound, we supplied Sony UWP-D27/K33 dual-channel UWP-D wireless packages. Two transmitters into one dual-channel receiver meant both hosts could be miked at once, even while running around the pitch mid-match.

Pictures and angles

The director followed along on DJI Transmission monitor setups with TX and RX, seeing the camera feeds without running cables onto the pitch. We also supplied a few GoPros for extra angles in places where a bigger camera would have stood out.
