Fjellhytta

Fjellhytta ("The Mountain Cabin") is TV 2's renovation competition in the mountains, where four couples each renovate a cabin and compete to win it. A spin-off of Sommerhytta, the series is produced by Strix and hosted by Simon Nitsche.

The equipment we delivered

Brent has supplied equipment to every season of Fjellhytta since 2023, from the first season at Turufjell, through Mjøsli and Budor, and we are now back at Mjøsli for the next season. We deliver camera, sound, lighting and monitoring, put together so the crew can follow the couples through each week's challenges, from rough cabin to finished result.

The mountain as a location

With the whole shoot taking place in the mountains, the kit has to handle cold, wind and changing weather, and be easy to move between the cabins on site. We build the package with that in mind, so the production can keep its pace through a long shoot.
